This only kind of counts because the movie is mediocre anyway, but holy shit Guy Pearce's insanly over-the-top performance in Lawless is distracting. It is sooooooo out of place.

Ok, this thread wasn't meant to be "_____ sucks in all movies he/she is in".
Take a movie you think is good, but would have been much betterhad it not been for a singular performance. Otherwise this is just a least favorite actor thread.

All right, I've got one: Snitch. There's actually some interesting stuff in that movie; it's a pretty effective, gritty thriller. However, even though I love The Rock in action roles, he does not have anything near the dramatic chops required to make that protagonist work. It severely damages the movie.
