I started reading this today ahead of the theatrical release, which I almost certainly won't go to. Just thought I'd keep RM apprised.
Enjoyed the book a lot, an amazing life story. Don't think this movie will do it justice at all. Gonna pass on seeing in the theater.daft twat wrote:I started reading this today ahead of the theatrical release, which I almost certainly won't go to. Just thought I'd keep RM apprised.
What's your IQ, Alex?Alex wrote:while my family gathered in my grandparents' living room for a post-christmas powwow, my cousin, who is not the smartest guy in the world nor possessive of especially good taste in art, said he wanted to see this movie. i told him i didn't know what it was about, then he described the detainment and torture this character experienced, and said it's directed by angelina jolie. i said, perhaps unwisely, "seeing a movie directed by angelina jolie sounds like the definition of torture." some people laughed while others grew quiet. it was later revealed by more sensitive members of the family that i was thought to be bullying my low-IQ cousin.
to sum it up, it turns out life resembles RM, just as RM resembles life.
