Watched all of it yesterday. Not as "gimmicky" as you might think because the writing and acting are so good. It can be hard to watch because of all the awkward moments and unlikable characters, but it's rewarding as hell. Tambor deserves a mountain of awards for his performance.

I've been seeing this show up on a lot of best of 2014 lists. I'll probably give it a watch over the holidays some time.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Do you think she's got some mental illness or something? She's always hallucinating weird stuff (this continues into S2). Not sure if it's important to her character, or just creative choice by Jill Soloway.
maybe, but doesn't she do a lot of drugs?

Eh, I'd say she dabbles. Have you seen the S1 ep in which she totally hallucinates the reality of her date with the trans guy? She's not on drugs then. Then she has a couple hallucinations in the first two eps of S2 and again, no drugs.
yes, but i swear that was drug induced.

Do new episodes come out every week, or does Amazon just dump entire seasons out like Netflix does?

My wife and I started catching up on Season 2. This show is so depressing, we started watching 1 episode followed by 1 episode of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt to lighten our mood just so we don't kill ourselves.
