That's a good movie. Better than the Ed Norton version, that's for sure.
Why do you think Hulk movies don't seem to do very well, LV?

Really? All I know about that movie is what was referenced in Ted. It looked very cheesy, but I guess maybe that was the point?

Just most people thought Ang Lee's Hulk was a disaster. Or at least, not very well done. So it doesn't surprise me that vermin likes it and rates it so highly.
I am a little disappointed that you didn't know which he was referring to. Since Edwar Norton's (PEDANT ALERT!) has a different title.

I think it's just the ones that have been made. Lee's is defiantly esoteric and was never going to be a popular success. Letterier's is just bland city. Nothing memorable at all.
Part of it may be that the concept of the character almost lends itself better to an introspective drama (like Lee's film), which, again, won't make it a popular success. Watering that character drama down into an action movie (like Letterier's film) is probably going to have a lame result. But who knows? Maybe someone will nail the balance yet.
