Silver Springs might be the most heartbreaking song of all time.

Love Fleetwood Mac. Dreams is one of my favorite songs by anyone. Whiskeytown did a mean version.

Some fun songs on rumours, but to me Fleetwood Mac is all about Peter Green:

I do that from time to time when it's 2am and I'm drunk.

How the hell did silver springs not make the rumors cut?? It's like a top 3 fm song

I like the studio version better than the dance version.. nicks goes off and it's so awesome

From what they've said, there was not enough room. One song had to be cut and that was the one. It's a pretty fat free album, but I'm sure there were some politics in the decision. I'm going to see them in March. Yeah, they're far beyond their prime, but I've never seen 'em and they're on the bucket list. Buckingham is pretty underrated as a guitarist. Looking forward to the show!

What would you have cut instead? In terms of running order and flow, it really was the most logical song to cut.

(Keep in mind, I Don't Want to Know is the song they added when they cut Silver Springs due to time constraints)

There is a girl at the drug store I get my prescription named Rhiannon. She was shocked when I knew what that was from. She said her parents met when that song was popular. She is like 22-23 so I'm sure most people in her age bracket have no clue. It would like a kid being born today named Polly or Starla or something.

Great song btw.

They had/have so many songwriters. Silver Springs is a Stevie song and better than I Don't Want to Know (IMHO) but I agree it kind of disrupts the flow of the album. I was surprised to see there was four Christine McVie songs.

Not an old school song but I really dig this one.
