yeah but it's in the southern hemisphere, and so if i understand my time zones that means that he already played those dates in august of 212

I'm pretty sure this is a S/T-era article.

does that Jan/April stuff correspond with the 05/06 tours and release dates. that certainly could be a description of S/T

Yeah, that's weird. Also, the 'play at max volume' thing is beyond familiar. I know these guys tend to repeat themselves a lot. But I think this is an old description.

Not sure why this passage wasn't mashed in the article:

"While a lot of the album is "as heavy and bone-crunching as our earlier material", Gossard is most proud of the melodic songs such as "Dawn" - written over 4 months by co-guitarist Mike McCready - and the Who-like "Alarms Of Nautical", by Gossard himself.

Purely out of desperation of a new pearl jam album in April

I don't wanna clutter the board with a new thread, and we've already got a 10th album thread, so sorry if this is hijacking or whatever, but do you guys think we'll get another Legacy Box Set? Perhaps a No Code/Yield combo set like the Vs/Vitalogy set?

Is that even something you'd buy? I would. I'd be super pumped to see it.
