I've never really been able to get into rhubarb. Which I think is some kind of sin since I come from Wisconsin.

it grew like weeds in our backyard growing up..my mom made pies and they were delicious..I dont think Ive had it for 30 years

Did you ever smoke it?

What is rhubarb like? I've never had it.

it's like a sour celeri with huge (non-edible) leaves. it needs sugar to be palatable. we have a few tillers in our backyard - we cut the branches, slice them in half-inches bits and put them in ziplocks directly into the freezer for further use. when i was a kid, we used to eat it raw by just dipping the tip of the branches in white sugar.
