DVD/Blu Ray question

So we have a DVD player with an HDMI out to the TV. I've always enjoyed the quality of the picture on this. Is it worth it to upgrade to blu ray? I'm not sure how much of a difference I would be able to tell. We have a decent LED Tv that the DVD is currently connected to.

Dude, it's a massive fucking difference if you care about picture quality even a little bit. Night and day. Upgrade.

More like eating a Big King when you really want a filet mignon.

Ok one more question: If I use the code in most dvd/blu-rays now and get the Digital HD version of a movie, is that as good a quality as a Blu-ray?

Close, but not quite. Streaming HD looks great; it's still HD. But it still won't be the full quality you'd get from a disc. A physical Blu-ray is always the best option with current tech.

Yeah, the one we got was 60. And it connects to the net and has apps on it as well. Pretty neato.

What's blu ray? Apparently we're getting something called DVD soon, but I think I'll stick with my beta tapes.
