Hi team,
When I first started my iTunes account...many moons ago...my Apple ID was a Comcast email address. So when my current iPhone was set up, that's the email/account it was associated with.
I have since changed to Gmail and updated my iTunes account with the new Gmail address for logging in.
However, my iPhone continues to constantly ask me to log in to iCloud and it still shows my Comcast address as my Apple ID, so even though I use my current password, I'm not able to get in.
For the life of me I can't figure out how to get my iPhone to associate the Gmail address as my Apple ID rather than my old Comcast address. It's like burned into the iPhone's memory or something.
Help?
