yea. the last one was a mix of the regular marvel and the ultimates version of the four. if it follows the ultimates version (which from the trailer it does) then it has a chance to be decent but im still not sure fox can do marvel movies correctly since avengersSgt. They never should have rebooted Spider-Man.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:spiderman, yoSgt. Crackpot wrote:A reboot already? The last series is only about 7 years old, right?
oh i agree...maybe it was my extremely low expectations, but i didn't hate the second oneLoathedVermin72 wrote:They never should have rebooted Spider-Man.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:spiderman, yoSgt. Crackpot wrote:A reboot already? The last series is only about 7 years old, right?
Sure, SM3 sucked, but nowhere near as badly as either of those Marc Webb atrocities. And Raimi's first two remain some of the only worthwhile superhero movies in existence.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:oh i agree...maybe it was my extremely low expectations, but i didn't hate the second oneLoathedVermin72 wrote:They never should have rebooted Spider-Man.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:spiderman, yoSgt. i had some complaints about the first one, but overall i enjoyed it...i remember really enjoying 2 (love alfred molina), but i don't think i've seen it since it came out...i'm sure it holds up fine and i should probably give it another goLoathedVermin72 wrote:Sure, SM3 sucked, but nowhere near as badly as either of those Marc Webb atrocities. Pfft. Webb's movies are some of the worst shit I've ever seen. While 3 was certainly messy, overwrought, and tipped the silliness scale into insanity, at least it still had life and identity. It was still Raimi, and he was still attempting the depth the first two accomplished. I have little doubt 4 would have gotten things back on track had he been allowed to make it.Peeps wrote:while Spiderman 2 is the gold standard for spidey movies there is no way in hell that 3 is in any way, shape or form on par with or even better than the first two of the new reboots. thats just crazy talk
I agree.tommymtcom wrote:The Fantastic 4 are very high on my list of superheroes I don't give a single shit about. I'll pass on this one.
I didn't make it past the pilot on that show, but I like Mara. She just hasn't found the role to really let her show her stuff yet.tommymtcom wrote:I don't like Kate Mara. I think it's because I really didn't like her character on House of Cards.
