Seriously, When's the Last Time You Had Taco Bell?

Post by Chris_H_2 »

Our kid's parents told us that on their way home from a house party the other night when they were a little drunk, they pulled into a Taco Bell. They said they did this about once every two months, but mostly after they had been drinking (which, I guess, is somewhat excusable). They're about 38 years old.

It got me thinking: I don't think I've had Taco Bell in 11 years (the last time I remember was at a Taco Bell in Milford, MI when my niece was born).

Do non-high school/college people actually go to Taco Bell? If so, how often? I'm beginning to think that I'm the outlier.

I can't remember the last time, probably 10+ years. Why is TB any different than any other fast food place? I mean, in that time, I've had many other fast food meals.

To my miniscule brain, I always perceived it as a step down (grade F meat) from other fast-food places.

I was shocked to read that a Chipotle steak burrito has more fat and sodium than a Big Mac.

Im not surprised. Also, I believe "back in the day" chipotle had a food calculator on their website that provided all the caloric info for the meal you would chose to order.

2 double decker taco's no lettuce
2 soft shell tacos no lettuce
Chili Cheese Burrito
Nacho Bell Grande

That was my goto back when i could eat like that. Now Ill just go with the 4 taco's. or substitute a soft shell with a chili cheese burrito. Also, always have eat the double deckers first so as to avoid the softening of the hard shell layer

It might be, the meals are really cheap from what I remember. I agree that it definitely targets that high school/college aged demographic.

Pizza was almost always my go to food option after a heavy night of drinking.

For whatever reason I do not feel as shitty after eating taco bell as I do after McD's or BK or any other. I rarely eat that shit but taco bell, if not over done, has less of an impact on me.

The second lowest point in my life was when I ordered a couple of Doritos locos tacos. The lowest point was when I realized they were quite tasty.
