Division 3 Round 3al: Given to Fly vs. Nothing as it Seems

While I've always appreciated and enjoyed Given to Fly, I've also found it a bit overrated. It wore out its welcome fairly quickly for me. Its since come around again and I can feel things move when I hear it.

Bug Nothing As It Seems is just glorious. I've never tired of it. And it always moves me. I've never gotten bored with it. Time and time again, I get excited when it comes on. I look forward to hearing it. That opening gives me chills every time.

NAIS. Please and thank you.

I expected this thread to be pissing me off. I like Given To Fly (maybe even love the album cut) but NAIS has been a favourite for 15 years, now it is def top 2 and maybe even #1 for me.

NAIS, please go far this time.

GTF is a obviously a great song and a fan favorite, but NAIS is a personal favorite of mine that captures my favorite sound/mood from this band... one that they can rarely do anymore.

The studio take of GTF is a thing of beauty. NAIS is really interesting, the vibe is perfect. Normally, I think I'd say GTF, but whatever, I'll go NAIS. Why not? Both are top 25 PJ tunes.

Very tough one for me. Had to go GTF, since I still get mileage out of it. NAIS is a great song, but I only enjoy the odd live version. The studio version grates a little now.

As much as I love Nothing As It Seems, the studio version of Given To Fly is still the best song ever by anyone.
