I just don't care about unemployable and I love The Fixer, but I know how this is going to end, and I've steeled myself. This thread can no longer hurt me.

I will second the comment "I just don't care about unemployable". I find the vocal dubbing to be so abrasive and jarring i can not appreciate anything that is going on. It has a couple nice lyrical moments, "Thinking if he can't sleep, how will he ever dream?" is a nice moment in particular.
The Fixer is not top tier by any means but i do enjoy it. I find it have a bit more depth than many give it credit for. It is the candy coated facade that hides the true strife and angst that many deploy. The narrator carries a burden. Unfortunately Vedder wasn't clever enough to either realize this or flush it out more appropriately.

I think they're both good but the final execution of The Fixer leaves something to be desired.

Looks like I'm one of the few to vote "The Fixer". Both are good songs, though.
