D4 Round 2aq: Amongst the Waves vs. Unthought Known

what an appropriate matchup. Two mid temp songs aspiring to the anthematic greatness of old with intermittent success.

Amongst the Waves is better, though

Unthought Known probably wins. But I'm AtW.

I still like Amongst the Waves, though.

I do not find ATW to be that bad but it is a miss compared to Pearl Jam's previous anthems. Unthought Known is also a miss when compared to similarly structured songs (LBC, LB).

While I consider both to be sub par Pearl Jam, I would much rather listen to ATW if given the choice.

Fuck.

Maybe because I don't have an "anthem" category for Pearl Jam songs, or if I do, I've never put AtW in it, is the reason I'm able to enjoy it so much more than others.

Or maybe people just like different things and it's dumb to over think it.

I loved UK when Backspacer came out, but my how that song has fallen. I hated ATW, and it has risen slightly, but I think I still like UK better.

Il take diarrhea all day long, friend. I had a major bout of constipation last week. Been detoxing and juicing and eating so much fiber and taking some supplements. Although im running to the bathroom a lot...I feel so much better than having a brick in my belly. you know?
