Alive is just, well it's iconic. That opening guitar riff/line (along with Jeremy's opening bass riff) commands your attention. Stone was on fire with this and Even Flow.
Breath is no slouch either but it's Alive.

Breath doesn't hold up for me. Neither does Alive, but I'll give it the vote for that episode of The State. Go Doug!

I'm pretty much bored with both of these but Alive is clearly the better song.

I think the opening riff to Alive is my favourite thing Pearl Jam has ever done.

Imma do Breath. I've always enjoyed it more than Alive. But I fully expect Alive to win. It deserves to advance. It's iconic. Breath is more of a personal favorite, though.
