Delicious. One of the only acceptable uses for pickles.

I've never ordered a chicken schwarma that didn't come with pickles.

Pickled turnips, yes. Pickled everything else = wrong.

I meant that to be taken contextually in the shawarma topic
Otherwise, I love picked stuff - I make some homemade pickles myself btw such as chanterelles and lima beans
edit: and cucumbers i like but they gotta be crunchy (the kosher ones are usually the best).

One day my hope is RM collectively gets over the whole "calling Jorge a Mexican" thing and realizes how hacky and actually offensive it is.

Oh it's super offensive. But I couldn't pass up the joke. Which I hope you understand was as much a joke aimed at RM as anything else.

Buenos Aires doesn't really have many good shawarma places, but the one place I really love has the best shawarma I've ever had anywhere. It's run by an Armenian family and they only sell shawarma on Fridays and Saturdays. I usually go on Saturdays and it's the highlight of my week. I call it shawarmaturday.

There are a ton of places here that have shawarma. Some are decent, but there's only one I'm over the moon about. King of Falafel has a cart on 53rd & Park and a store location in Queens. It's amazing.
