Division 3 Round 4bb: Given to Fly vs. Man of the Hour
MoH's attachment to Big Fish has helped its standing in my ratings. That movie's ending leading in to the song triggers my eye faucets. Every time.durdencommatyler wrote:As much as I tend toward GtF being a tad overrated, it's still a really well constructed thing. It still manages to hit me at least a third of the time. Man of the Hour is also lovely, but never managed to grab me. It's a better idea than execution, I think. Or I like where they were going, but not exactly how they got there. I don't reach for either song often, but I tend to respond more positively and frequently to GtF.
Given to Fly.
I'm pretty cold when it comes to stuff like "daddy issues." Which is weird, since I'll cry at anything. Usually I'm overly emotional. And I like Big Fish as a film a lot. But dad dying doesn't tug at me like it probably should. Maybe I should see a therapist.Thejambi wrote:MoH's attachment to Big Fish has helped its standing in my ratings. That's the thing, I wish I hated him. Then there would be something there. I just feel completely indifferent to his existence.LoathedVermin72 wrote:why do you hate your fatherdurdencommatyler wrote:I'm pretty cold when it comes to stuff like "daddy issues."
