I enjoy this record, everyone seems to have it in their top ten or twenty of 2012, but let's be honest, there isn't a lot of variation in terms of dynamics.

I'm sure that stems from the fact that they're a two piece. It's a fun record but some more variety would be nice.

Yeah I don't think it deserves such high praises from so many people but it's a fun record indeed. I didn't care for their first one at all.

What should I grab from these guys? Don't even know what they sound like but there's considerable buzz around them.

Very overrated. Enjoyable listen in pieces but massive one trick pony. Massive.

Yeah, it's kind of one-note, but it's a really good note. Besides, it's only a half hour long; I don't think the album sticks around long enough to wear out it's welcome. They seem to be aware they work best in short does. The last half of the record in particular is pretty great.
