Well, I have a new song obsession. I saw Broods perform on Conan tonight, it was my first time hearing of them. The performance was fantastic. This is the song they played, also performed live here. The last 60 seconds are exceedingly beautiful.

I'm officially and completely in love with this song. I've listened to it at least 20 times in a row now and it just feels better every time.

I almost felt that way at first, I wasn't quite sure... But it's getting better every time I listen. And I love it. The whole thing works perfectly for me; her voice, the music, the lyrics, and especially the performance. it all just comes together perfectly. I have a music boner. I haven't crushed on a song this hard in a long time.

That performance in the video is far superior to the album cut, they bury the girl's voice for absolutely no reason.

I'm bummed to hear that. I downloaded he album last night, I haven't listened to it yet. I'm not surprised that the live performance is better though, because it is just so good.

Bump. Because this song, and this performance deserve it.

The second stanza of that performance is my favorite vocal thus far this year.
