Last night's episode was pretty awesome. Loved seeing some scenes in the observers time. Next week's two hour finale should be good.

Serious question: If I've only watched the first 2 seasons, do you think I'll be able to watch the finale? Will it make sense?

Absolutely not. You would be totally lost.

Cool. Thanks.
I'll wait it out and catch it on DVD.

It's really worth it. The later seasons really get good.

Good to know. I liked season one, but it was a slow starter, for me.

It wasn't bad. I really hope they put Olivia into 'God mode' next week with a combo of the Observer's tech and Cortexiphan.

From the previews it looks like they get back in contact with the Walternate universe? That would be interesting to see if the observers were in that world as well. Too little time I'm afraid to delve deep into that subject.

Well, that wasn't bad.
I'm sure this was in there, but:
- Spoiler: show
- If the the Observers ceased to exist in the season 5 universe when Walter and Michael (Lost reference?) stepped out of the wormhole, how would Peter be alive since September never would have rescued Walter from drowning in the lake?

Well, it's fundamental to the ending that the certain events have occurred. Peter being alive is key amongst them. Stopping
- Spoiler: show
- the observers from existing
wouldn't stop Peter from dying in the past and would actually prevent Walter from being alive in season-5-universe, unless they are implying that Peter is no longer Walter's son but
- Spoiler: show
- just happened to end up with Olivia anyway (fate?!)
, which I suppose is possible but a major cop-out a-la BSG.

I hadn't thought about that but I suppose you're right. It hurts my head to try to figure out any other way Peter could still be alive other than a cop-out.
