I'll never understand the praise for Parachutes. I consider it one of their absolute worst. So as Parachutes takes this, I'll be grumbling the entire time at all of you who vote for it. Haha

How did Life Wasted make it this far....

I just realized what I dislike about Life Wasted; it's the mid/slow tempo parts. If they'd just kept it all rockin' , I'd've liked it better.

Oh man, I think it's one of their best from the last three records. It definitely makes my "Best of the MC era" mix. I love the simplistic guitar plucking and the overall structure of the song. Parts when the guitar follows Ed, such as the "parachutes have opened up" verse, are nice touches.

Have you heard the demo? I think it's better, there is a space in it, which is missing from the album version.

Yeah, I've never understood the love for Parachutes either. I mean its okay and everything but I never ever seek it out. It's definitely bottom half of the PJ catalog for me. Probably bottom third. I feel the same way about Life Wasted though, and I haven't voted in this snore-fest of a matchup.
