Not that daughter isn't a great song, but it's at the lower end of pearl jam's best songs. Last Exit is about as close to the top as you can get

Daughter. I adore Last Exit. But Daughter was a game changer.

It is just such a special moment. I can see Pearl Jam still being able to make another Last Exit while I don't believe they could ever replicate the qualities of Daughter.

These songs are so different in my mind. I should listen to them before voting.
Without listening-- I love the primal precision of Last Exit, and Daughter feels so loose and fresh after all of these years, and I don't know if that really means anything as opposed to a song off of an album like Vitalogy, which is firmly planted in this vacuum of musical space, seemingly void of time and external influence. I'm really just feeling like Daughter lately but I'll give them a fair listen.
