Black, but very close. The RVM remix breathed some new life into Black. Both are amazing songs I've overplayed.

You have properly articulated my feelings.

I think I'm on board with GTF. For now

Ah, the evil of two lessers. Two songs I never care to hear again -- that get played at exactly every PRAMG show. Given To Buy loses by a Jimmy Page acoustic lick to Black (Friday Sale). Does anybody remember laughter?

I take your point, they play those songs a lot, but I honestly wouldn't mind Black appearing slightly more often given that I've seen the band play five times (four of which fell within the scope of the PRAMG) and I've only heard Black once.

"Given to Fly" is extremely special to me; some of the song's quieter virtues have been lost to many years' worth of supercharged live versions, but the song itself still takes me to a wonderful place. Jack's drumming on the studio take is pretty much a self-explanatory example of why he was my favorite drummer for PJ.

"Black" is capable of sneaking up on me but even during my years of unchecked "Ten" worship it was never among my favorites. I've seen it at 2 of my 8 shows and I've never been struck by the desire to see it again.

Black. And it really isn't even that close.

His use of the snare rim is really nice.

Just listened to Black from the japan 03 mix that someone here put together. My vote has been flipped. Plus, I remembered how this song drew me in during the early days.

Although, if I had a copy of the melbourne '98 version of GTF with Jack to listen to, I may not have flipped

I just get quite tired of hearing how lazy they all play GTF these days, and Matt does it no favors.

I've overplayed both, but Black survives. I'm simply less apt to skip it when it comes on shuffle vs. GTF.
