I've been think about the Once Upon A Time In Shanghai remake a lot lately. It was a very entertaining film. Here's how I would rank the martial arts movies I've seen recently.

1) Once Upon A Time In Shanghai

Let me see your lists.

Since almost all action movies these days seem to involve martial arts, I have a hard time figuring out what truly qualifies as a "martial arts movie." I mean, do Steven Seagal movies count?

I like some of Jet Li's Chinese films, specifically The Shaolin Temple Series and Once Upon a Time in China.

No one would honestly consider a Segall movie "good", or take him seriously as a martial artist.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Kung Fu Hustle
Ip Man
Seven Samurai
Hero

Those are all great as well. I haven't even mentioned Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan, but they both have good amongst their bad.
