Boom Forest
Foreign Fields
etc
Adam Durtiz said it best when Counting Crows were in Milwaukee last year.... "I don't know what the fuck you got in the water here but drink up.".
Not to mention Bon Iver and Megafaun but the bands above are really great bands if you guys have not checked them out.

Went to Madison once for a job interview. Seemed nice, but it was cold in September. and I blew the interview.

Wisconsin has a long line of great bands. This one in particular is my favorite.

Justin came out and did Terrible Love and Vanderlyle with the National last night.

i wish i was there too. it sounds pretentious as hell, but i think the northern woods of wisconsin would offset that.

Totally agree with that. I love a lot of the bands there and I'm the least hipster of anyone on this board. Perception isn't always reality.
