I actually do love this new song, Preach. Astrial Love, not so much.

Anyways, the EP is ok. Preach is lovely. Astrial Love is atrocious. The other 2 tracks I guess have me slightly interested in the new album still.

Wow there are some stellar tracks on this new album.

Put Silverchair (and Daniel Johns) in the "Very Underrated" category.

One of my favorite bands.

I imagine its difficult to be defined by some songs you wrote when you were 15.

I haven't listened to Silverchair in many years...but Neon Ballroom --> Diorama were two of the best runs of albums any band has had.

This show from the Diorama era is just awesome to watch "After All These Years"...

I thought Preach was Maroon 5.

Anywhere near AOTY for you, bain? Are there tracks that you don't care for? I think this album would be incredibly strong if a few tracks were skipped and Surrender and Late Night Drive were added. I'm still in obsessive listening mode with it.

its no Other Lives or Steven Wilson for sure, but its very solid all the way through

but yes, it could've been shorter

Sounds more like Elbow than Arcade Fire.
