Yeah, that's the one rule I don't like or understand.

I think Teen Spirit should be excluded, and everything else is fair game... each song only once, though... not demos, live versions, or covers...

I would hope not, I'm all for ruling a song out of contention once one version has been picked.

Hang on, I just looked at the rules: can we ditch the Unplugged and live stipulations? In fact, can't we simply just run with any eight songs from the band's studio output and let things work themselves out naturally? I don't have any problem with someone stacking their team with Bleach songs if that's what they're into, for instance.
