Any restaurant recommendations for Chicago? I did my homework, but I'd take suggestions.

get the kobe burger at rockit bar and grill on hubbard. when else are you going to pay $20 for a burger unless it's on the company dime?

wait, that place may still be renovating. google best steakhouses in chicago, the majority will be nearby.

Piccolo Sogno is great for Italian (with an awesome outdoor patio)

I havent been to chicago in about 8-10 years but I remember eating at Blackbird and it was quite good...Charlie Trotters was great too but its closed now I think

my friend mike sheerin was one of the main chefs at blackbird. he opened a trendy place north of the city called the trencherman, and just opened a gig in the west loop called embeya (which is "progressive Asian" (like buggy)).

it's not a huge chain, but i think they have like 3 or 4 locations. every time i've eaten there, i've had an overpriced, usually over cooked, steak (plus, i don't like where they source their steaks from). the one downtown is in what's called "the viagra triangle." lots of suits looking for "high-end" hookers.

i always laughed when they showed it on The League.
