Figured Pearl Jam would figure in somehow during Letterman's final couple of weeks...but didn't expect Eddie with Shaffer and the orchestra.

To be honest, that will probably be better than the full band.

While it'd be cool to have the real band, I think it's just as much of a moment for Shaffer and his band as it is for Letterman. They're all big fans so being able to play with him on their last week will be a great moment for them

I think he will stick with a personal composition (which he is apt to do without the band) so Betterman makes the most sense. That or a cover. Hope its not a cover.
