WTF???!!! AMC brought this show back from the dead? I wasn't real happy with season 2, but other than Homeland I can't think of a better acted show on TV. Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman are great. I'll be watching.

Season 2 was a terrible let down after Season 1. I'll watch, but I suspect the magic is gone on this one.

This is coming back with a 2-hour premiere on June 2. Two of my favorite actors, Peter Sarsgaard and Elias Koteas, will be joining the already stellar cast. Season 2 was a bit of a disappointment, but I'm still pretty stoked for this.

I am kinda looking at it as a reboot of the show. Season 2 should have been a different case. If they took the end of season 2 and made it the last two episodes of season 1, it would have been a great ending.

From what I gather from various stories on the internets, AMC originally did not renew the show. Fox TV Studios then shopped it around to DirecTV and Netflix to save the show (similar to what happened to Friday Night Lights). Netflix was close to signing some sort of deal and then AMC stepped back into the picture. So now Netflix and AMC share the production costs. But unlike FNL, AMC will show it first. I'm not exactly sure why Netflix would actually do this. Just securing the streaming rights to the show doesn't really seem like much of a benefit for them.

From what I read Netflix will be going after streaming rights a lot more to compete with hulu plus for the growing number of people getting rid of cable.

It's is odd that AMC would re-enter the picture on this show. As we all know, they are really cheap when it comes to productions costs and giving money to shows so they can become bigger and more epic. I could see where AMC would do this with the walking dead as they own the show 100 percent. But with the killing, it is not even there show. Either way I think once BB and Mad Men end. AMC's cheapness is going to really come back to bite them.

I never once saw a commercial for the season premier. I guess that says something about what the network feels about the show?

Pretty clear to me, that this is just some kind of "filler" show for AMC and I don't expect a fourth season. It seems pretty obvious that they only brought this back to have more time to develop another show.

I think it's great and I'll savor every episode. Linden and Holder are great characters, although the drama surrounding them has been hit and miss.
