Riot Act to me is like a baseball game you lose 6-5 and you hit 5 homeruns. Yeah the homeruns are awesome but you have a shit ton of ground outs and double plays.

I normally put Riot Act at the bottom as well, but according to Ruddo's 1,0,-1 system I like Riot Act more than Binaural.

You can't argue with science.

Since "Riot Act" is an album comprised entirely of songs that made the album, I find it difficult to believe that you really feel this way.

It's probably my second favorite after "Yield."

I've been threatening it for YEARS now, I know. But when I finally get around to my guided tour write-up of Riot Act all y'all haters are gonna owe me a big fat apology.

I almost wrote up my 33 1/3 proposal for "Riot Act," but I went with Taylor Swift's "Fearless" instead. I would read the hell out of your Guided Tour.

Riot Act or S/T. Those are definitely my bottom 2. RA is wildly inconsistent for me, some great songs but more clunkers than any other PJ record. For S/T, I have a hard time coming up with a great song, but there's nothing terrible either. Just a blah record for me. I can listen to it, but I don't seek anything out.

Shouldn't this be merged with the rank the albums thread?

I Riot Act.

It's at the bottom of an amazing 7 album stretch, but that's not a knock against it. It's just hard to compete with what came before it.

Riot Act is pretty close to taking the #2 spot on my list.

2 through 7 can vary wildly pending on my mood. Lately, I've liked Vs. and Ten better than RA, but drop the temperature by 50 degrees or so, and couple it with short days, and RA tends to move up in my rankings.

i liked some of the posters on that tour.

that's the only good thing I have to say about riot act.
