RM Movie Group: Week 1: Lolita

Hey Dudes, Welcome to the RM Movie Group. Here's how it works. A RMer suggests a movie and we all have one week to watch it. A week later another RMer suggests a new movie, and then we watch that one. I can make a modify the opening post of this thread into a sign-up sheet for people who want to pick movies. Please, don't reveal the movie you picked until it's your turn, just sign up to start with.
Without giving it too much thought I recommend Lolita (1962) as our first movie.

I systematically went through every Kubrick about ten years ago. I've re-visited most of them by now, but not Lolita. This will be a good excuse to do so. Good pick.

When are you thinking of doing this? If it's in October, I'll probably opt out since my moviewatching during this month is crowded and horror-focused.

I'm saying just pony up and participate. Lolita is running for the current week. Someone else will pick a new movie next Monday or Tuesday.

This was my first time watching Lolita and I thought it was very strong. Tied with Dr. Strangelove for Kubrick's best.

It was pretty good from what I remember. It has to be 15 years ago or more at this point.
