Bummer. IMO, they never put out anything better than Deloused, but I still enjoyed everything else and thought their newest album was pretty solid.

Well, Cedric's been quite active on the subject on Twitter last night.

A shame but it was only one project amongst many. Maybe this paves the way for a return of ATDI?

The last two albums were crap so I'm not really devastated. Hopefully they'll be more inspired in whatever they do next (and I don't mean ATDI, enough with reunions and fucking Gen Xers nostalgia already)

yeah i have no desire for an ATDI reunion. besides if omar and cedric had a falling out over TMV why would they jump right back into ATDI together?

Yeah, that's not going to happen. Although I am one of those Gen X reunion douchebags that never got to see ATDI and would love to see them now.

I really liked De Loused and Frances the mute. I liked songs from the other albums but never really enjoyed their work as much as i did on those two.

They made some great music together.

This band was a bust, really did not put out anything of importance IMO. It was a mistake breaking up ATDI.

Wrong. Frances the Mute is one of the best albums of the past 10 years.

I find it hard to believe that Cedric and Omar won't work together again, they have basically been best friends since they were 12.

Deloused and Frances were pretty good but they totally lost me on the 3rd record and I haven't listened to them in years.

Personal Fest 08? I was there too, I thought it was an amazing show. I couldn't recognize a single song (if there was more than one  ) but I thought it was a really awesome display of musicianship. They sounded great, and their drummer was awesome. I've never been a huge fan of these guys (I only ever listened to Deloused in full) but that show made me want to explore them further. But I got lazy and so I didn't.

Yeah it was a cool show when I saw them, but after an hour, hour and a half it got old real quick.

Loved Deloused and Octahedron though.

I could watch Jon Theodore or Thomas Pridgen play for six hours and not get bored. Incredible musicians.

It already happened, just four dates in Texas and several festivals. Omar and Jim Ward are friends again apparently. Would be weird if there was another Drive-In reunion/recording without Cedric.
