I listened to I Love You, Honeybear a few times and wasn't that much into it, but I fucking loved Strange Encounter here. I really need to give some more spins to that album.

Nice work with the Built To Spill addition. A top 5 album for me this year.

Quick (40 minutes or so) comp of some of my favorite songs to appear solely on singles or EPs. Ill do a full lengths one too sometime soon. This just came out quick. It's fast, noisey, and will probably only appeal to about three of you (if I'm lucky).
Oh and that Watery Love song has my favorite guitar solo of the year.

I've never heard of a single one of those bands except for Protomartyr. I will totally check that out.

Just listened to Burt's mix. Lots of high energy rock and pop, most of which didn't really leave an impact on me. I'd heard a few of the songs before: Foals, Courtney Barnett, Caspian, and El Ten Eleven. I have that El Ten Eleven album; it's pretty good, but it's probably my least favorite of their releases, so make of that what you will. The Caspian track is a nice bit of crescendo-core guitar pyrotechnics, though not something I would really seek out. Of the stuff I hadn't heard before, the Chvrches tracks was enjoyable.

I'll try to check out some more of these mixes as I work on tightening up my own.

I should warn anyone who listens that my taste in music is mostly shit. But that Caspian song is the best thing ever.
