One of my all-time favorite bands.

Their new album, Nanobots drops March 15th. It will be their sixteenth studio album.

Any other fans out there?

Their new song, 'Call You Mom' is fantastic. It's the most excited I've been about a new TMBG song in damn near 10 years.

I got in trouble a number of times for calling Dial-A-Song. Calling NYC from the Southwest was apparently really expensive in the 80s.

This is my last stick of gum, I'm going to cut it up so everybody else gets some. Except for Ashurbanipal, who says my haircut makes me look like a Mohenjo-daroan

I've been getting back into them recently. The first time I heard them it was on Tiny Toons and I thought the songs were made up for the show. Imagine my surprise when I was at college in 95 and a friend played "Flood" in the room. Been a fan ever since, though I dropped off on the albums around 99. Bought the "Here Comes" albums for my son who was born in 2005 but nothing else really until this past month when I got most of the albums I've missed since then. A lot to take in over a short span of time.

That's exactly the song I was thinking about when I saw this thread. Classic.

A lot of people dismissed The Spine when it first came out. But I think it's one of my favorites. Thunderbird and Bastard Wants to Hit Me are just so awesome. Those songs floor me.

Join Us was a bit of a let down, for me. But anything coming off of The Else was going to be a hard sell. So far, I'm super pleased with what I've heard of Nanobots.

Welcome back!

Nanobots is their best album since (at least) Factory Showroom. I can't stop listening to this thing. It's damn genius.
