Where did LV go? Was he mad at someone? I'd ban 3 random RMers to get LV back.

Don't get me wrong, he was was rudely wrong about EVERYTHING, but it was a joy to have him around.

That was a small part of it. Looking back, I should have just let it go and not pushed the issue. This place is better (on balance) with him here. If I'd know he take it that badly and leave forever, I would have walked away. But, like Ruddo has said before, I'd rather have people around who want to be here and want to participate.

LV had been on the fence about leaving for a while. I hope he's happier not being around. He's a good dude and I want nothing but good things for the guy. If this place was bad for him, or if I was bad for him, then it's a good thing for all parties that he's not around.

Maybe one day he'll be back. Either way I wish him well.

Would it help if I started demanding that Hellboy 2019 was cutting edge cinema, and everyone on this board is an idiot for not seeing the subtle genius?

I totally get why he blocked me, but I do miss his Twitter feed. And I'm totally serious.

yeah he was able to connect with his dad over the Kanye album. and as ridiculous as that sounds I'd love to connect with my dad over something I love so I was totally on board for it.

That's actually really awesome. I don't remember him telling that story. Was that told here on RM or just on Twitter?

I'll never forget what it meant to me to hear my dad say that he really loved Nirvana's Never Mind, and how he felt bad for not giving it a chance when it first came out.

my dad died in 2014 and was older than I am now when I was born so there was more than a generational gap for us.
