Trading cards

Who had the trading cards, and did you ever trade any of them? My mom used to take me to the local Hallmark store to get them. I had about 1/2 shoebox full, and I never traded them, I just put them in order by number and if there were more than one of the same card, I just kept them all together. 
I don't think any of my friends collected them at all, so there wasn't really anyone to trade with.
