I'm pretty excited about this. My eldest daughter and I watched all the Playhouse episodes about a year ago and I was surprised by how much I still enjoyed them.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Tried watching Big Top Pee-wee last night. Turned it off after about 20 minutes. Just terrible. Why did Pee-wee live on a farm? Did I miss something?

Because Pee Wee Herman talking to farm animals is hilarious.

hey, so this is pretty fun. any time pee wee and joe manjello are on screen together is hilarious. it's a fun and dumb movie that requires removal of ones thinking cap, but if you can do that when watching movies there's no reason you won't enjoy this, especially if you dug pee wee herman in the first place. loved all the 80s cars and generally the 80s setting of the film. the balloon scene had me in tears.
