Easy vote for Yellow Ledbetter.

Inside Job is a pretty good song with some unfortunate lyrics i'm willing to overlook given their source. But even without the merits it's hardly the grand epic it wants to be.

1/2 Full really comes into its own live, but Riot Act sucks too much of the life out of this Red Mosquito clone. I can justify it thematically, but it still makes it a less enjoyable listen.


I like Yellow Ledbetter when I get it live, though I always skip it on a bootleg. But the studio version of this song (what I primarily care about) remains one of the most beautiful things the band has ever committed to record, musically and especially Ed's performance. A top twenty song for sure. Sometimes a top 10

I actually like Half Full a lot.

It's not a favorite, but it's not a song I'd question if someone said it was.

I like Inside Job a lot more than most people around here. Good to see someone else giving it some love. Unfortunately it isn't as good as YL for me.

I like the ending jam on 1/2 Full, there is a really cool version of it from Live at Easy St. Would recommend listening to it before voting.

Yellow Ledbetter is fucking great.

I really, really, really, really love Inside Job and I want the world to know it.

I always forget how much I like "Yellow Ledbetter." The original version is lovely, and I've loved many live versions -- back when the 2000 boots were new, I would look forward with each new to hearing how Mike was going to phrase his brief 8-bar solo. I have always preferred Mike's major key, pentatonic-scale playing ("YL," "I Am Mine," "Off He Goes") to his wah-wah Van Halen showboating.

I like "1/2 Full" a lot but it doesn't beat "YL" for me.

I had a period -- when I was learning to play guitar -- where I thought YL was one of the greatest songs ever. But that was many years ago...

1/2 Full, easily. It didn't click until I saw it live, and now I love that song to no end.

YL by default as the other two are rather average.

Same feelings here. And, whenever I want to bask in that song's bigtime outtro I watch the Chop Suey video performance.
