Either. Maybe State because it was a revelation in 92.

two excellent songs. SoLaT is a bit more dated than whipping, but once upon a time it was my favorite pearl jam song so it gets my vote.

I love Whipping -- it's the sort of simple, honest rave-up that Mind Your Manners aims for but overshoots...
But any band could have written that song. SOLAT, on the other hand, is distinctly Pearl Jam, and it's one of their best.

Voting for this version:
The ending sequence from around the 3min mark till the end is really good.

SOLAT is everything good about early Pearl Jam, without the garbage.

Totally agree -- easy vote here.
"Whipping" is probably the weakest song on "Vitalogy," minus the "Pry, To"s, etc.

I really don't care about either of these songs, but I'd be much more likely to actually listen to Whipping.

I cannot physically vote against SOLAT. Very strange. I tried a few times. It just doesn't work.

No joke: I like Pry, To a lot and think it's a better track than Whipping.
Oh and SoLaT for the win, here.
