2 x 5* tracks. Got to be Hail Hail, the best song from No Code.

Daughter, those these are both pretty close in my estimation.
This is making me want to do that pearl jam rank website again. That guy needs to add the additional songs.

The catharsis that happens in Daughter at 1:37 when Eddie wails "rise aboooooove" and runs until about the 2:00 mark cannot be ignored.
I'm going to need to think on this one.

No Code is my favorite album. I love it in its entirety. I think Hail, Hail is a wonderful fusion of sound. However, Daughter is the better song. Better performances all around the board. I dare to say Hail, Hail may be a tad overrated around these parts.

This is when the knives come out ladies and gents.
I've voted for Daughter right now. But there's a great chance I'll change my vote a few times. This is fucking difficult.

Live versions have no bearing whatsoever on how I vote. Never have, never will. But, yeah, that's pretty fucking great, dv.

i'm typically with you, but there a few songs that i'll consider live versions. porch unplugged, animal from mtv (although i still voted aty), grievance and hh from letterman, etc...however, overall, i'm all about studio takes.
