This waas getting pushed so hard during the last UFC event. Saying it's one part Bourne, one part Capitan America, one part Call of Duty. Absolutely zero desire to see this

It's an easy easy comparison but that trailer really does feel like the first level of a videogame, right down to the dialogue: "Fight back, Henry! You're capable of more than you think! Press X to punch, A to kick!"

I think this would be harder to watch then the 'Lost Footage' style of movie. Screw the migraine you'd have by the end of this

I don't have a problem with that kind of stylization; other big movies have already used GoPros, and I'm a big fan of the found footage genre.

The movie does look kinda stupid, though.

I don't play many video games anymore, though I've been more than just familiar with fps games since Doom came out in the 90s. This does seem a bit too attached to the gamers' hip to be very good, and the dialogue was certainly clunky and cartoony. It still looks fun, though.

I don't even think the creators really care what the premise is. Burt was right; it's a gimmick. It could still provide some unique violence porn in a visually original way. It has an 'Ash from Evil Dead meets a Duke Nukem plot' feel to me. I hope it's full of campy humor.
