I like him more now. He seems to have gotten beyond his hatred of women (which got very old) and now just hates everyone ( ). That being said, I have never been a huge NIN/TR fan.

I will be all over a NIN-comeback, but I haven't to say that this band is just what I wanted from Trent after he went on hiatus.
Haven't heard the new album yet, but my expectations are quite high.

After a few spins, i kinda liked it..its too much NIN oriented, but still feels a little more mellow or electronic than NIN.
It sure helps those nice vocals.

I would like Trent to do a full acoustic album, something along the sound of his Bridge Benefit Concert from 2006.

I picked this up last night. Gave it one listen. It seems like a great album to put on in a mellow room at a house full of people tripping on mushrooms.

If you're into that type of stuff, I really like the Still bonus disc from "And All That Could Have Been"

From Wiki...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/And_All_Th ... _Have_Been

Still contains subdued renditions of older songs and five new songs.[17] According to the NIN website, four of the songs were "recorded live in a deconstructed fashion."[18] Instruments include piano, acoustic guitar, electric piano, or other 'real' instruments backed by computer-generated synth textures.

Reznor said that "Adrift and At Peace" is the conclusion of "La Mer" from The Fragile.[19] Some of the tracks off Still are evolutions of rejected themes that were originally written for Mark Romanek's One Hour Photo.[20] "Leaving Hope" is also the name under which Reznor has published music since the beginning of his songwriting career.[21] Reznor later allowed "Leaving Hope" to be used in a public service announcement for Hurricane Katrina disaster relief.[22]

Disc Two (Still, Halo 17b)
No. Title Length
1. "Something I Can Never Have" 6:39
2. "Adrift and at Peace" 2:52
3. "The Fragile" 5:12
4. "The Becoming" 4:30
5. "Gone, Still" 2:36
6. "The Day the World Went Away" 5:17
7. "And All That Could Have Been" 6:14
8. "The Persistence of Loss" 4:03
9. "Leaving Hope"

Great video...i like how they went for a different route from NIN, even if the setup reminds me of Lights in the sky.

I listened to the Coachella show last night, it wasn't too bad. Maybe a little low-key, but still good.

I went to their first show in Pomona so I could skip them at Coachella. It was pretty f-ing remarkable live! The light setup is nothing short of amazing. I dug the music a lot, too, although all of the NIN roidheads who came to mosh were disappointed.

I'm sure that once I watch it I'll think of another way of putting it but their music is kind of mellow for the most part.

I found a torrent on TPB of the show. Used dbpoweramp to convert to apple lossless and then put that on my ipod.

would you pass me that torrent?

Yeah their music is kinda mellow..thats why is attractive to me, specially because its coming from Trent.

I remember when The Fragile came out, or maybe before, he already had a plan of a band with a girl singing that wasnt going to sound "NIN with a girl".
I wonder if that plan is actually this band.
