Near Wild Heaven is fine, though it's one of the lesser tracks on Out of Time.

Supernatural Superserious is classic REM filtered through their end of career sensibilities, and is excellent. It was exactly the single I needed after Around the Sun (and helped me to appreciate Around the Sun more)

Supernatural Superserious :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat: Such a great and vital song so late into their career. Michael Stipe sounds so wonderful here. Near Wild Heaven is pretty cool but Supernatural takes this one easily.

I really like "Supernatural" but "Near Wild Heaven" is a beautiful little song -- I love the three-part interplay in the choruses between Mills's main vocals, Buck's arpeggios, and Stipe's impeccably timed delivery of the title line. A personal favorite on "Out of Time."
