I really do think I fully appreciate Country Feedback, but no feeling it gives me matches the lightly hinged joy of TSST. It's like the aural equivalence of being a juvenile and feeling invincible. The truth is right around the corner, but it keeps it at bay.

it's a great song, and it is one of the key songs that stops Automatic from getting a bit too dark.

2 top 10 songs for me, maybe both are top 5.

country feedback is a song I always think is overrated, and then I listen to it and remember that it's not. I don't want to say it's the best REM song but I don't know what's actually better. Probably nothing.

i'm not sure how we even define "better." i think it's a great song to be sure. but there are definitely songs that i prefer to listen to over country feedback. tsst is probably one of them.
