I Don't Sleep, I Dream has almost none of the qualities that I like about R.E.M. This tournament made me realize that Monster might be my least favorite R.E.M. album. (I never got around to listen to Around The Sun, so that one might be worse)

it is, but it's like a staler version of everything you probably love, and it definitely has its modest charms, especially if you've already played out everything else.

I like moster a lot, but I've realized that people here like it more than me.

It's not that I dislike Monster. It's a good enough album with some great tracks. (Frequency, Strange Currencies, Let Me In)
