As great as he was, I'm worried about this character carrying a series

Yeah the Punisher is usually best in small doses. I still haven't finished DD S2 so I don't know how this will set up but hopefully he's teamed with someone interesting. It doesn't have to be another hero but it can't just be him for 13 episodes.

I could see a present day narrative cut with heavy doses of flashbacks working for the character.

if he didn't have someone to play off of that would be essential. Uncovering who Frank Castle was was just as important as the fight scenes. His actual plot arc was the least interesting thing about him

Yeah, the video description has the month and day redacted from the release date.

Sounds like Netflix plans to push this back b/c of Vegas.

i understand why they would but i dont think there will be that much of an outcry over it if still dropped in november. maybe its me but this doesnt seem like a xmas release
