Two of my less favoured REM tunes.

I expected this to be much closer

Didn't know people loved Electrolite this much before this tournament. Vote for Losing My Religion

I goddamn adore Electrolite. I'd LOVE to see it win out. But I have to vote for LMR.

Electrolite is easily the best song from HiFi. And I love that album
Sucks how the second best song (So Fast So Numb) is getting beaten by a much inferior one as well.

I goddamn adore Hi-Fi. But I don't think either Electrolite or So Fast, So Numb would crack my top 5 from that record.

I dont know if I would enjoy Electrolite as much if it wasnt for its placement in the album.

HiFi is pretty messy (and I mean this in the most positive possible way), especially for an REM album (Monster is a lot fuzzier but still feels like a more organized album), and I goddamn love that. But Electrolite comes in the end and it's nothing like the rest of the album. It's a gorgeus and simple song that feels more like a throwback to Automatic for me. The contrast gives me chills every time.

Oh sure yeah. I totally get that.
