My friend gave me a bottle of Portuguese olive oil recently and I'm enjoying the different flavors it has compared to ones from Italy, Greece, or California.

I went through a phase where I was trying different olive oils, and my favorite at the time was from New Zealand. See if you can find some and give it a try.

For sure, thanks! Apparently they sell the Portuguese stuff at world market, so I'll look there for the new Zealand stuff

i love good olive oils but for some reason I never spring for a really good one..I always just end up getting Star

actually I shattered our bottle outside on the driveway the other day so I'm holed up with my phone and my mitts.

That's all you need tonight, Kurt.

I cook with basic olive oil. I drizzle the good stuff. No use wasting it on cooking where the difference is negligible.

If y'aren't using avocado oil, y'are doing it wrong.

Handles high heat like a champ.



(I also like a nice sesame oil for Asian food)
