Was just listening to this song today and I love it. PJ still had some of their groove from Ten, but in a more aggressive fashion. I think Ten-era PJ is my favorite sound, but Vs also with Go, Animal, Glorified G, has an awesome sound...I do miss some of the musical complexity of songs like Once and Even Flow, but the slightly simpler structure on Vs. still has many interesting parts.

This one the band is just on fire...another one of the best drummed songs in their catalog, the band just sounds great together, Eddie sounds great, the song just rocks. Love the drums when it starts adding all those snare hits, and when things sort of drop out for that guitar riff. Ending guitar solo is awesome too over the chorus. You just want to blast this song and get taken away by it.

Vs is such a monster record. And Animal is one of the top 3 songs on that record. Easy.
